22 Before 22 - Part 2
Part 2 is here! You can view the first 11 of my goals here.
12 :: Go to 'Meat and Greet' and 'Recruit Night' of Roller Derby I have always wanted to do roller derby! A few weeks ago I found the local group and their event list for new members. My goal is just to go to the meeting for now. I would love to do this but it all comes down to budget. How much gear and fees will cost and how much I have to spend.
13 :: Get a pink KitchenAid Mixer Gahhh I have been drooling over the pink ones at target. So pretty! I really want to save up and get one. Psssh only $300.
14 :: Move I have been planning on buying a home for a while and this is the year I'm going to do it!
15 :: Plant flowers Whether in the small planter outside my current cottage or outside a future condo/house, I really want to do this!!
16 :: Go hiking This has been on my to-do list for sooooo long! I really haven't been! Even just a trail-walk I will check this off, haha. Just a walk in the woods, really. Hiking implies a mountain and gear...nah a trail walk will be fine for now.
17 :: Become an Insanity Grad On my way doing this now =)
18 :: Get drunk Yeah it's pretty sad that I'm over 21 now and never even been drunk. I've been tipsy - but c'mon everyone has to get hammered once in their life! I'll give it a try. My problem is it's a big commitment, like that is a lot of liquid! I wouldn't even drink that much water, and shots taste gross so forget that!
19 :: Reread Harry Potter series I do this every year regardless of my goals, now I'm just running out of ideas.
20 :: On that note, Make my own Butterbeer! I've seen lots of recipes on how to make your own butterbeer, it's usually just butterscotch schnapps with beer or something similar but I need to try butterbeer!
21 :: Donate blood two more times I haven't donated in a while, which is bumming me out because I normally donate as soon as I can. Since I moved back home, I haven't gotten acquainted with the local red cross blood banks. I would like to donate two more times before my 22nd birthday. This I can't really procrastinate - I can only donate so often!
22 :: Go swimming Is it sad to say that I haven't been swimming since my freshman year of college? Yes, probably. I need to get a bathing suit (yeah I don't really have one) and go swimming!
These are pretty feasible goals and I feel very good about this year. If you missed it, you can view Part 1 here!

This Week in Weight Loss...
I lost 1.8lb this week! (16.6lb total!)
Yes, I am happy. I wish for a higher number but I will take it.
What I am most proud of is I feel like I've gotten out of my "slump". For about a month now it was gain .4, lose .2, gain .6, lose .8 and I was getting frustrating. The main change was being way more active!
This week, I worked out and did Insanity (a week of review in that is coming up) I also went to Applebee's and had chicken fingers, fries, and mozzarella sticks. I hadn't had that in SO long and wanted to treat myself. I stayed within my points range and tracked all of my food and activity too! It was a pretty successful week. My goal this week is to eat more fruits and veggies than I did this week and hope to lose 2lbs!
I'll keep you updated as to how I did! Thanks for all the support!

What I'm Watching
I have watched...
National Geographic
Stress: Portrait of a Killer

I love watching documentaries! This one was very interesting. I watched it while doing the dishes so I wasn't 100% paying attention to it but I remember the studies done and it's definitely worth a watch. Made a mental note to be calmer. =)
New Girl
I started watching this show when it first came out and loved it. But I was a bit behind on this season so I just caught up and I love it even more. I love Zooey's character, Jess and the whole dynamic of the show is awesome and funny. Definitely watch.
I know this is super short but I really haven't been watching much. Except for Sex and the City and the other show I watch as it airs is Parks & Rec, which I posted about already. Soooo yes. This is about it.

Insanity!
I just finished Day 1 workout of Insanity! It actually wasn't as bad as I thought. Here are some of my thoughts from an extreme beginner.
Yesterday, I had completed the Fit Test. I didn't pace myself. I tried to go as fast and hard as the pros with the rock hard abs in the video. Not such a good idea. Multiple breaks and lots of nausea later, led me to finally finish a 25 min long fit test in about an hour.
Today, I thought it would be just as hard but I paced myself and did what I knew I was comfortable with and it went very well. No asthma attack, no nausea, and only breaks when they took them!
Some of the exercises, I just can't do. Like the one where you are in a plank position and have to jump your feet to your hands. I literally am not able to move my body like that - I got a belly in the way! So rather than try, get discouraged and quit - I just stayed and held a plank. I was sweating and shaking just as much as those pros in the video but I didn't pass out.
(Side note: You know insanity is tough when the pros are taking breaks behind this guy.)
Anyways, it was quite a success! My plan is to do this every morning before class/work and in the evening try to attend a fitness class on campus like zumba.
Also, I earned an additional 12 points today for my Weight Watchers because of my activity!
Going to start my day now after a nice post-workout shower and oatmeal! Yum-O! =)

Super Sunday
I want to make these for this summer! Looks pretty easy!
I love these nails!!
I love this car-kit! This blog teaches you how to make it - cheap! Very useful! I definitely need to try making this!
Mmmm I found this recipe a few days ago and I can't get enough - it's SO yummy and healthy if made with light wheat and fat free mozzarella.
This blog has some great tips and printables for moving. I hate moving and this will come in handy when I have to again within the year.
I love looking at pictures of organized spaces. I'll be tackling my desk soon.
I gotta try making these! They look so yummy!
This is a brilliant idea! Very convenient!
This is so cute! I can definitely DIY these with Old Navy flip flops, stencils and my exacto knife.
I love everything about this summer outfit. So cute! =)
Those were some of my favorite things I've pinned this week! Hope you enjoyed =)

Weight Loss Update :: 15 Weeks
Here's a quick update how Weight Watchers and my journey is going. To start, I wanted to share the pictures I took when I first started Weight Watchers, on January 5th.
This was my starting weight at 245lbs.
I took these pictures yesterday, April 12th. This is 15lbs lighter! It's not much of a weight loss for 15 weeks but I can definitely notice a difference!
For physical changes, it's not just in photos I notice a difference but I have more energy, I feel better about myself and well-being when I am eating better. (I will be sharing with you a typical day for me and posting my food tracker soon)
I am starting to workout. I know that sounds silly "Duh Sarah, shouldn't you have been doing that?" Yes. But for the last month I have been so sick. (Hasn't everybody?) I'm just starting to feel better so I found all the Insanity videos on YouTube and a schedule online so I started that. So far all I have done is the Fit Test but that was super hard. I took so many breaks - some that I thought I was going to be sick. But I finished. For those who don't know - the Insanity Fit Test is a workout where you track how many reps of an exercise (like suicide jumps) you can do in one minute. You do the Fit Test every two weeks to track your progress.
I don't expect myself to finish the first few workouts - I will probably drop from exhaustion (I could never handle Jillian Michaels, haha). But that is OK! I will just keep going! One of my favorite fitness inspiration quotes that I have seen all over Pinterest and Tumblr is "No matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everybody on the couch". That's just how I have to think. Even if I can only do the first 20 min of the workout - it's still better than saying "I probably couldn't finish it, I'll just sit here and eat these cheetos while watching Say Yes to the Dress"
